ビートルズの英国での5枚目にあたるオリジナルアルバム、そして2作目の主演映画のサウンドトラックアルバムでもある「ヘルプ! 」の2曲目に収録された、アップテンポのナンバーである。作者のポールがダブルトラックでリード・ヴォーカルをとっており、映画では「草原でのレコーディングシーン」というなかなかシュールな場面で使用されている。

この曲は1965年2月17日、アビイ・ロード第2スタジオにて録音された。
たった2テイクで完成させている。

ジョンはエレクトリック・ピアノを弾き（鍵盤楽器初レコーディング）、
ポールがこれまた初登場楽器のエピフォン・カジノ（ギター）を弾いている。（たぶんギターソロ）

この曲はこの日だけで録音を終えており、翌日にさっそく第2テイクからモノ・ミキシングされている。
