ビートルズの英国での5枚目にあたるオリジナルアルバム、そして2作目の主演映画のサウンドトラックアルバムでもある「ヘルプ! 」の10曲目に収録された、軽快なナンバーである。
サントラアルバムとはいえ、B面は映画では使われていない曲が収録されている。
作者であるジョージがダブルトラックでリードヴォーカルをとり、ポールがハーモニーを付けている。

この曲は1965年2月17日、アビイ・ロード第2スタジオにて録音された。
「ザ・ナイト・ビフォア」と同じ日に録音されたためか、担当楽器が似通っている。
全部で8テイク録音され、最終テイクである第8テイクが採用された。

ジョンは「ザ・ナイト・ビフォア」と同じく、エレクトリック・ピアノを弾き、
ジョージ・マーティンとポールはスタインウェイのグランド・ピアノを弾いている。

An anecdote ～　こぼれ話

ジョージの作品が1アルバムに2曲収録されるのは、このアルバムが初めてのケースである。
もう1曲である「アイ・ニード・ユー」もそうだが、後年のジョージの持ち味である裏のリズムを多用したメロディーラインはまだ鳴りを潜めていると言えるｗ
