ビートルズの英国での3枚目、そして初主演映画のサウンドトラックアルバムでもある「ア・ハード・デイズ・ナイト」の4曲目に収録されているナンバーである。
映画ではリハーサルシーンで演奏されていた。
ジョージがリードヴォーカルをとり、ジョンとポールがコーラスを付けている。

この曲は1964年3月1日に、アビイ・ロード第2スタジオにて録音された。
この日は意外にもビートルズにとって初めての「日曜日のセッション」だったとか。

第2テイクまでは演奏のみの録音（2テイク目が採用）。第3テイクは失敗。
第4テイクで初めてボーカルが入った。
ジョージはダブルトラッキング用のボーカルも難なくこなし、ジョンとポールはコーラスを付け加えて
リンゴはタムをパーカッションとしてオーバーダビングした。

この曲を仕上げた直後にポールが「Long Tall Sally」を1テイクで決めている。
