ビートルズの英国での3枚目、そして初主演映画のサウンドトラックアルバムでもある「ア・ハード・デイズ・ナイト」の8曲目(アナログではこの曲よりB面）に収録されているアップテンポのナンバーである。
サントラとはいえ、このアルバムのB面収録曲は映画本編では未使用のために、映画では使用されていない。
ジョンがリードヴォーカルをとっている。
サビの2コール目はジョンにとってキーが高いために、その部分のみポールが歌っている。

この曲は1964年6月2日に、アビイ・ロード第2スタジオにて録音された。
午前中にこの曲に取りかかったビートルズは7テイク録音したものの、
中間部分がまだ未完成だったために夜に持ち越した。

夜に再びこの曲に取り組んだビートルズは中間部分を完成させながら、
各楽器類、そしてポールのボーカルを加えて11テイク目で完成に至る。

なぜかアメリカ盤のモノラルバージョンのみ、間奏のピアノがかなり遅れてフェードインしてくる。
現在、このバージョンは「Capitol Album 1」に収録されておりCDで入手可能。（国内盤はCCCDなので海外盤の方がオススメです。）
