ビートルズの英国での3枚目、そして初主演映画のサウンドトラックアルバムでもある「ア・ハード・デイズ・ナイト
サントラとはいえ、このアルバムのB面収録曲は映画本編では未使用のために、映画では使用されていない。
作者のポールがリードヴォーカルをとり、ジョンが効果的にハーモニーをつけている。
英国での7枚目のオリジナルシングル、「ア・ハード・デイズ・ナイト」のカップリング曲でもある。
このシングルは英国では1964年7月10日に発売されている。
この曲は1964年6月2日に、アビイ・ロード第2スタジオにて録音された。
ダブルトラックも含めてたった3テイクで全ての録音を終了している。
このレコーディングでジョンがピアノを弾いたそうだが、ほんの少しだけ入ってしまってるそうだ。

An anecdote ～ こぼれ話
- 日本のグループサウンズの代表的バンド、ジャガーズの曲「マドモアゼル・ブルース」はこの曲を参考にして作られたそうである。確かにパク・・いや失礼。
