ビートルズの英国でのオリジナルセカンドアルバム「ウィズ・ザ・ビートルズ
オリジナルはデトロイトの黒人ガールズ・グループ、ザ・ドネイズが1962年にリリースしたもの。
「Bad Boy」という曲のB面曲としてである。（原題は「Devil in his Heart」）
ジョージの発案でカバーする事になり、その際に三人称を変更している。(his→her、he→she）
原曲にかなり忠実にカバーされている。（時間がなかったのかも知れんが）
最初に録音が試みられたのは1963年7月18日。
このアルバムのセッション初日に手早く3テイクを録音し、マラカスのオーバーダブを含む全6テイクで仕上げている。
ジョージのヴォーカルは所々でダブルトラッキング処理されている。

An anecdote ～ こぼれ話
- 後年、あの「ゲット・バック・セッション」でもちょろっとだけ演奏されている。この際はジョンが歌っているが、お遊び感覚で適当に歌っているという感じで、緊張感のまるでない演奏である。
- この曲のイントロ部分はよくラジオのジングルなどで使われたりするので、「おっ！」と思っても、そのすぐ後に「なんじゃい」と落胆する場面が日常でよくあるｗ
